Handmade in our Bali workshop, Sgroppino is a rectangular sunglass defined by its double bridge. An open bar sits above the nose, lifting the upper line of the frame and creating a window of light between the brow and the lenses. It is a structural detail rather than a decorative one, and it changes how the whole frame sits on the face.

The front is wide and squared, the rims are thick, and the white inner lining draws a clean outline around the tortoiseshell. The result is a frame that feels technical and warm at once, closer to a piece of design than to a classic sunglass.

Designed for both men and women, the rectangular shape brings horizontal balance to round and oval faces, while the raised bridge opens up the upper face. Its width suits larger faces particularly well.

Crafted from Italian Mazzucchelli acetate, the frame offers rich layered tones, density and lasting comfort. Each pair is shaped, assembled and hand-polished over approximately 15 days, and the double bridge is cut and finished by hand.

Lens options include polarized lenses to reduce glare, softly tinted lenses developed in our Bali workshop, blue-light filtering lenses for daily use, or photochromic and prescription lenses prepared by our opticians. All lenses feature UV400 protection, anti-reflective treatment and scratch-resistant coating.

Every Sgroppino frame is handmade and adjusted in our Canggu boutique, where French design precision meets Balinese craftsmanship.
