Buatan tangan di bengkel kami di Bali, Nostalgia ialah cermin mata hitam oval oversized dengan bahagian hadapan yang lebar dan menyelubungi, serta jambatan yang rendah. Kantanya besar dan melengkung lembut, garis atasnya hampir lurus merentasi kening, dan bingkai ini melengkung perlahan ke arah kaki bingkai untuk siluet yang penuh dan lapang.

Diilhamkan oleh cermin mata oversized akhir tahun 70-an, Nostalgia menonjolkan isi padu tanpa kehilangan keseimbangan. Asetat tortoiseshell dialas dengan rim dalam berwarna putih yang mengikuti lengkungan kanta, supaya bingkai sebesar ini tidak terasa berat.

Direka untuk wanita dan sama sesuai untuk lelaki yang menggemari bingkai lebar, bentuk oval oversized ini sesuai untuk wajah bersegi empat, segi empat tepat dan panjang kerana melembutkan sudut dan menambah kelebaran. Bingkai ini menonjol, namun kekal selesa untuk dipakai setiap hari.

    This collection is designed and produced by our team. The idea is to offer eyewear that is easy to wear and contemporary. We produce all frames in small quantities in order to keep a limited selection that is regularly renewed in our boutiques.     Materials & Packaging

    Signature frames are made from Italian Mazzucchelli 1849 acetate, chosen for its durability, comfort, and the depth of its colors. The hinges are solid and designed for everyday use. Each pair is fitted with lenses offering full UV protection. The glasses are delivered with a Maison Mata case and a microfiber cloth to clean and protect the lenses. We try to produce our packaging as close as possible to us, in Bali or Indonesia whenever possible.

    Maison Mata glasses are designed to be worn every day. In our boutiques, our team can adjust your frame to ensure optimal comfort. We also offer cleaning, screw tightening, and small adjustments when necessary. Regular maintenance helps keep your glasses comfortable and well aligned. We recommend cleaning the lenses with the provided microfiber cloth and storing the glasses in their case when they are not in use.

Optical Compatibility

Maison Mata frames are designed to receive prescription or sun lenses. These oversized frames can be fitted with different types of lenses depending on your needs: single vision, progressive, polarized, photochromic, or blue light filtering lenses. Our opticians can guide you in choosing the lenses that best suit your vision and daily use. You can also have an eye exam in our boutiques to obtain an accurate prescription before your lenses are produced.

Is the oversized shape suitable for my face?

Oversized glasses flatter oval, heart-shaped, and angular faces, creating a bold, fashion-forward look. They can also add balance to longer faces by shortening proportions visually.

Will oversized glasses make my face look too large or too small?

Oversized frames can overwhelm small faces but look stunning on medium to large ones. Keep the lower edge near your cheekbones to maintain proportion. For petite faces, thinner rims or transparent acetate lighten the effect.

Are thicker, angular frames heavier, and will they feel comfortable all day?

Not necessarily. Our thicker acetate frames are lightened inside for better balance and comfort.
The most important factor is how the frame rests on your nose, the more surface contact it has, the better the weight distribution and the more comfortable it feels throughout the day.
Even in Bali’s warm climate, the fit remains light and pleasant to wear.

Are blue-light lenses safe for daily wear, and will they change color tint?

Absolutely, they are perfectly safe and maintain a neutral tone.
Maison Mata blue-light lenses can be combined with prescriptions or light tints for everyday use in Bali’s bright environments.

How long does it take to get prescription lenses made and fitted?

Most prescriptions are ready within 1 hour to 5 days in Bali.
All lenses are cut and mounted in our workshop to ensure precise alignment and clarity.

What happens if my glasses get scratched or damaged, can you repair or replace parts?

Yes, most repairs are possible.
Our team in Bali can polish small scratches, replace temples or lenses, and reassemble damaged parts when possible.
