Fabricamos esta montura Handmade en acetato italiano Mazzucchelli en nuestro taller de Canggu, Bali, donde le damos forma y la pulimos a mano. La fabricación tarda unos 15 días, sin contar el envío. Elige el tamaño, el color del acetato y el grabado sin coste adicional.

Elige lentes polarizadas para reducir los reflejos, fotocromáticas o un filtro de luz azul. Nuestros ópticos te asesoran en tienda sobre las lentes graduadas. Nuestras lentes de sol ofrecen protección UV400.

Made to Order & Customization
We make our Handmade frames from Italian Mazzucchelli acetate in our Canggu workshop in Bali, where we shape and polish them by hand. Allow around 15 days for production, plus shipping time. Size, acetate colour and engraving can be personalised at no extra cost.
Materials & Packaging
These Handmade frames use Italian Mazzucchelli acetate, with a fine metal core inside the temples. CR-39 describes a lens material; polarisation is a filter that reduces reflected glare. Our sunglasses sold online have UV400 protection. The product page specifies the lenses available for each model. Your frame comes with a case and a microfibre cloth, including when you choose it without lenses.
Services and Care
Lifetime care for your Maison Mata glasses is free in store: screw and nose-pad replacement, acetate polishing and frame adjustments.
Clean the lenses with the microfibre cloth and keep your glasses in their case when you are not wearing them.
Keep your glasses away from intense heat.

What face shapes suit round glasses best?

Round sunglasses bring curved lines to the face. On square, rectangular or angular features, they create a contrast rather than following the angles. A fine rim keeps the outline light; thicker acetate gives the circular shape more presence. Explore designs for women and men.

Will round glasses make my face look too large or too small?

The same shape can look different depending on its width, lens height and rim thickness. A larger frame creates more presence; a fine rim or translucent acetate gives a lighter outline. Use the product-page dimensions to compare proportions. Our opticians can help with sizing and adjustment.

Are handmade sunglasses worth it compared to popular designer brands?

Made in our Canggu workshop from Italian Mazzucchelli acetate.
A computer-controlled machine cuts the initial shape; our artisans then shape and polish the frame by hand.
Production takes around 15 days, excluding shipping. Size, acetate colour and engraving can be personalised at no extra cost.

Where can I get an eye exam or vision test by optometrists in Bali?

Free eye exams with qualified optometrists are available at Maison Mata Canggu, Ubud and Sanur.
Allow 20 to 30 minutes for the exam and advice on your prescription lenses. Eye exams are not available at Seminyak.

Do you offer quick fixes in Bali (screws, alignment) and how long does it take?

Our Bali boutiques can help with repairs and adjustments, including loose screws, temple alignment and frame fitting.
Simple adjustments can often be done during your visit.
If a repair needs a special part, our team will confirm the timing after checking your glasses.

How long does a custom order take from design to final polish?

Yes.
Our Tailor-Made service starts with your ideas, a mood board and measurements. We develop drawings and prototypes with you, refining the design before production. Allow 30 days for design and production in Canggu. An initial CNC cut is followed by hand shaping and polishing.
