Fabricamos esta montura Handmade en acetato italiano Mazzucchelli en nuestro taller de Canggu, Bali, donde le damos forma y la pulimos a mano. La fabricación tarda unos 15 días, sin contar el envío. Elige el tamaño, el color del acetato y el grabado sin coste adicional.

Lentes incluidas, a elegir: polarizadas, con filtro de luz azul o tintes especiales HOYA. Las fotocromáticas son opcionales; las graduadas se eligen con nuestros ópticos en tienda. Nuestras lentes de sol ofrecen protección UV400.

Made to Order & Customization
Each frame begins with a flat sheet of Italian Mazzucchelli acetate in our Canggu workshop. After the initial CNC cut, we refine the square outline and work the edges by hand, then polish the frame to a smooth finish.
Allow around 15 days for production, plus shipping. Choose your frame size, acetate colour and engraving at no extra cost; lens options are selected separately.
Materials & Packaging
We choose Italian Mazzucchelli acetate for its depth of colour and the way it can be shaped and polished. A fine stainless-steel core reinforces the temples. Our polarised sun lenses are made from CR-39 and provide UV400 protection while reducing reflected glare. Each product page shows the other lens options available.
Your frame comes with a case and a microfibre cloth, including when you choose it without lenses.
Services and Care
Lifetime care for your Maison Mata glasses is free in store: screw and nose-pad replacement, acetate polishing and frame adjustments.
Rinse away dust or sand with clean, lukewarm water before drying gently with a clean microfibre cloth. Keep your glasses in their case when you are not wearing them.
Keep your glasses away from intense heat.

Is the square shape suitable for my face?

Square sunglasses give the face a defined outline. Straight sides and visible corners add structure to round or oval contours; thicker acetate makes that geometry more pronounced. On an angular face, rounded corners or a fine rim soften the effect. Explore designs for women and men, from compact to generous proportions.

Will square glasses make my face look too large or too small?

The same shape can look different depending on its width, lens height and rim thickness. A larger frame creates more presence; a fine rim or translucent acetate gives a lighter outline. Use the product-page dimensions to compare proportions. Our opticians can help with sizing and adjustment.

Can I customize the frame color, lens tint, or engraving on Maison Mata eyewear?

You can personalise a Handmade design in acetate colour, frame size and engraving at no extra cost. We work through the proportions, finish and colours with you; lens options are selected separately.

Are all sunglasses UV protected, and what does UV400 actually mean?

UV400 describes protection against UVA and UVB up to 400 nm.
Polarisation reduces glare reflected from surfaces such as water or roads.
These are separate properties: a lens can provide UV protection without being polarised. All sunglasses sold on our website provide UV400 protection.

How often should I get an eye exam to keep my prescription up to date?

The right interval depends on your age, eye health, prescription and medical history.
Ask your eye care professional when to return. Do not wait for the next routine appointment if you notice a new change in vision or persistent symptoms.

Do you collaborate on limited editions or capsule collections?
