Handcrafted in our Bali workshop (≈ 15 days), Rum Razzle redefines the rectangular frame with a bold, wraparound silhouette. Slightly pointed at the edges, its shape gives a subtle mask-like look while staying refined and easy to wear every day. It blends contemporary elegance with a confident edge, inspired by 90s sporty design and minimalist architecture. Designed for both men and women, it suits round and oval faces, adding structure and modern appeal. Of course, other face shapes can wear it beautifully depending on the desired style. Made from Italian Mazzucchelli acetate, it offers depth, density, and lasting comfort.

The lenses can be tailored to your needs: polarized to reduce glare, blue-light filters for daily use, or exclusive tints developed in our Bali workshop. Optional photochromic or prescription lenses can also be crafted by our opticians. Each pair features UV400 protection, an anti-reflective coating, and a scratch-resistant finish for long-lasting clarity.

Every Rum Razzle is hand-polished and adjusted in our Canggu boutique, where French design precision meets Balinese craftsmanship, the Maison Mata signature.

  • Made to Order & Customization

    Each Rectangular Maison Mata frame starts as a flat sheet of Italian acetate before being sculpted by hand in our Bali workshop. About two weeks of careful work go into each one, from the first outline to the final polish. You can choose the tint, engraving, or size that suits you best. Every frame is patiently refined by our artisans in Canggu.

  • Materials & Packaging

    Our Rectangular frames are crafted from Mazzucchelli acetate, durable, lightweight, and balanced. Inside, a thin steel core provides flexibility and strength. The CR39 or polarized lenses offer full UV protection and reduce glare. Each pair comes with a leather case, microfiber cloth, care solution, and mini screwdriver.

    Maison Mata eyewear is built to last. If your Rectangular frames need an adjustment, polish, or small repair, our Bali boutiques will handle it free of charge. Clean your lenses with the microfiber cloth, keep them in their case, and avoid direct heat. Over time, acetate develops a subtle patina that makes each frame even more personal.
