Maison Mata provides complete training before the opening of each boutique to ensure a successful launch and the franchisee’s autonomy.

The program covers the following key areas:

  • Brand presentation: history, values, and positioning
  • Operational management: sales tracking, inventory, and customer service
  • Products and production: characteristics of classic and handmade frames, manufacturing process, and accessories knowledge
  • Digital tools: use of Shopify for operations and Notion for reporting
  • Workshop: training a skilled team to craft eyewear in-store
  • Optics: basics of optometry, lens types, and guidance for visual needs
  • Launch support: David or Margaux will assist during the opening and help train the production team
  • Store setup: ensuring the boutique design meets brand standards, including equipment selection and installation
  • Logistics: preparing and organizing the initial stock

Ongoing Training and Support

To remain competitive and aligned with market trends, annual training sessions are provided, covering:

  • New collections
  • Sales and marketing techniques
  • Optical industry trends


Continuous support is provided throughout the franchise operation, including:

  • Technical assistance for equipment and management tools
  • Support for local and global advertising campaigns
  • Regular performance analysis with targeted recommendations


Franchisees also have exclusive access to Maison Mata resources through a dedicated online portal (Notion), where they can:

  • Download up-to-date marketing materials
  • Order products and accessories
  • Review stock levels and key performance indicators
